Wisdom, decisions, vision and silly-frustrating-attacks

Weird title, right? That's what this week has been about.

The Lord strengthened my resolve to follow the business decision the way He has led. The outcome may or may not, be pleasant right away. But is there any other way than to follow the lead of my very creator?

Spent several days seeking a vision of what will replace the business opportunity that I will reject, as He has led and confirmed through good council. As I sought new insight from the Lord, I had a reduced diet that helped me focus on Him.

Funny thing though. Just seemed that some new troubling event would happen twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.

One day it was banking troubles, in the morning I found a huge negative balance from cascading insufficient funds charges. That evening on the way home, Fraud was detected on my credit card, so it had to be canceled and re-issued!

Another day, it was a disturbing customer call, just as men's prayer group was starting. That evening, it was the wierdest problem at an install that was wholly due to a single piece of decorative leaded glass in the window! AAarg!

I praise you Lord, that you set the boundary's of the oceans, and the boundary's of how the enemy can try to disrupt your servant living for your kingdom.

continue to give your servant Your strength, Your wisdom, and Your love for others.
Amen!

Wisdom granted, wisdom challenged?

I faced and important business decision, so I asked God for wisdom. In the book of James, it clearly states how the Lord is delighted to grant requests for wisdom. I also sought council from 3 brothers with good business backgrounds. Now I find it difficult to defend my decision of faith. I find myself asking the Lord to continually re-confirm this decision in bold and obvious ways, that I may stay the course.

Please bless my family & business Lord, WE need you.

old todo list mocks me

Went to create a new to do list, and started to overwrite one i made last october. Lord, only a handful of those goals were ever completed :-( . Rather depressing, yet, a reminder of how much I need to Lord to guide & direct all my plans. Without the Lord's blessing, they don't amount to a hill of beans.

Come Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, and my Father, lead me, direct me, bless me with wisdom that is Yours.

God's work on my faith

Sometimes, our faith falls short. (too often in my case)

Jesus talked about faith the size of a mustard seed and the power God would use on behalf of that faith. I praise him for providing rescues in our lives that build the seed. This month started out completely empty of resources, yet, in His great mercy, a new client arrived with a check on the first of the month!

Lord help me to remember this fully, that You are able to provide, that Your schedule is the best. When I look at insurmountable business or financial needs, remember, psalms 103.

Lets go!

my deliver lives. He rescued us from some difficult financial challenges yesterday. Oh, that I my walk in my Lord's presence, full of confident faith, and less of my faithless fear.

Rom 8:14-15 (message translation)
14 God's Spirit beckons. There are things to do and places to go! 15 This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It's adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike "What's next, Papa?"

pulled left, pulled right

How long Lord? How long until I see the glorious fulfilment of your promises? Forgive your child for his impatience. I don't understand why you allow some things and not others. No, I didn't design the sunset, or number the sand on the beaches, but I seek to understand. Nonetheless, in incomplete knowledge, I will follow by faith, you are my only hope, period.

Transportation, refriderators, ovens, and fences cause trouble. Please have mercy my Lord.
